President, Managing Principal
Dave Johnson began Recognition Strategies, Inc. in 1985. Having owned and operated his own business since 1978, he understands the challenges that organizations face each day.
Beginning his career in the performance improvement industry with a Fortune 500 company as an independent sales advisor, he became one of the top performers, earning status in the company's President's Club, Admiral Club and Chairman's Clubs.
In1998, he left the confines of a large corporation allowing him greater flexibility to provide the personal attention and proper solutions to his partners, his clients.
Dave is passionate about getting results and having employees aligned to their company goals and engaged in their vision and mission. His expertise is in identifying, developing and implementing programs tailored to each company's unique business objectives and cultures, that motivate and reward employees to perform at their best. He also oversees all aspects of the business.
Dave is a graduate of the University of Georgia where he was a member of the Sigma Chi fraternity. He is married and has two grown children (twins). Recognition Strategies, Inc. is located in the Metro Atlanta, Georgia area.
Vice President, Business Development
Bert Johnson is the VP of Business Development for Recognition Strategies, Inc. in Alpharetta, GA. Starting this role in August 2011, he is responsible for procuring new business, developing client relationships, and implementation of employee engagement programs.
Recognition Strategies, Inc. integrates multiple initiatives such as service awards, wellness, customer service excellence, on-the-spot recognition, safety, etc. into one cohesive platform. Through these programs companies realize real business results such as increased engagement, retention, learning, productivity, and performance.
Bert was born in McDonough, GA, grew up in Alpharetta, GA, and currently lives in Atlanta, GA. He attended Auburn University with a focus on Business Administration.
Since 2007, as a valued part of Recognition Strategies, Molly has successfully managed Recognition Strategies’ Symbolic Award Group with exceptional attention to detail and customer service. In this role she tracks and monitors all aspects from product design, order tracking (to insure deadlines are met) and product fulfillment. Molly also oversees and manages much of the daily administrative functions.
